2015 Summer Workshops
Session 2 1/2 - June 29–July 3

AYT Techies Workshop 
(Ages 12 to 18) 
Learn how to use AYT’s lighting and sound equipment and qualify to help with AYT’s season. Learn the skills of sound and lighting designers and technicians and develop these invaluable talents. (1 week: 9:00am - 12:00pm M-F)  
Teachers:  Rebekah Avila and Tom Fitzwater

Off the Cuff Jr. Workshop (Ages 10 to 18) 
Auditions for the new jr. cast are happening this fall. This is your chance to work with the directors of the group and have a blast improving 
your acting skills by learning the ins and outs of Improv Comedy! The week will culminate in a hilarious performance for your parents and friends. (1 week: 12:00 - 3:00pm M-F)

Session 3 - July 6-17

A Frozen Solid Workshop  (Ages 8-12)  (Voice, Dance, Acting)
The timeless story of the Ice Queen that keeps us all coming back! You’ll work with a team of vocal coaches, choreographers & directors, 
to produce a high energy review, while learning the professional performance skills to audition and make it big on your own!  
(2 weeks: 9:00am - 12:00pm  M-F)
Teachers:  Kendra Clement and Tracie Jones 

Make a Movie Workshop (Ages 10 to 18) (Acting for the Camera)
Want to be in the movies, commercials, or TV? This is your chance to get a behind the scenes look at what goes into the film making process. 
You’ll learn the techniques of on screen actors and participate in producing, directing, filming, editing, and starring in your own film that will be screened for live audience.  (2 weeks: 12:00 - 3:00pm  M-F)
Teachers:  Tyson Lund and Tanner Liddiard

A Frozen Adventure  (Ages 5 to 8) July 6-17  (Voice, Dance, Acting)
Two, Adventure filled weeks for our youngest actors as they learn the basics of writing, producing, and acting in their own show! Actors will go through the complete production process and perform their work for their parents. This is the perfect way to introduce a young actor to the all aspects of classic theater. (2 weeks: *Group 2 12-2:30pm  M-F)
