Casting ages 8 - 19
Poor Miss Minnie! She has been forced to become the reluctant manager of her old father’s melodrama theater, ‘The Melodramodean’ since he has suddenly and mysteriously taken ill (He thinks he’s a chicken!) right before the judging of the grand melodrama competition! Throw in a devious and insincere leading man, a deceitful developer and a large cast of misfits and ne’er-do-wells, and poor Minnie faces her biggest challenges ever.

Sunday April 10th at 3pm
Mandatory read-through and Parent Meeting: April 11th
Rehearsals begin April 25th
Production Dates:
June 3rd - June 12th
Fridays & Saturdays at 7pm and Sundays at 2pm
Auditioners should prepare:
- 1-2 minute comedic monologue appropriate for all age
- a headshot or school photo, and resume if available
- a list of all possible rehearsal conflicts
Casting:
Minnie Melodia - Our heroine and reluctant impresario!
Angela Lovejoy - Faithful maid and cook for the Melodias, Pianist for the Melodramodeon, and Minnie's confidant and protector!
Professor Martin Melodia - Minnie's father and founder of the Melodramodeon. Considered to be one of the greatest actors of his time.
Lance Trueheart - An actor and Minnie's admirer! Keeper of a secret!
Aloysius McNasty - A Banker. In reality, the professor's rival and ne'er do-well, Dirk Bloodbane, who has secret designs for Minnie and the Melodramodeon!
Lola LaFlame - Star villainess at the Melodramodeon.
Leucretia Bloodbane - A true villainess. A supposed specialist in rare disorders of the mind. Sister of Dirk Bloodbane.
CaDeuce LoBalle - (Pronounced Ka-dÓOse) An actor who believes his press! Son of Dirk Bloodbane
Cyril DuQuern - Director of great repute!
Cora, Matilda (Matty), Darla, Duke, Satch, Casket - Orphaned waifs that Angela has taken under her wing!
